There are many avenues for finding a relatively inexpensive golf cart because of today’s economy, but you will need to consider your intended use before considering your purchase sources. Another consideration is your location. Are there sales facilities near you, or a golf facility that might have used carts for sale, or will you rely on the private market to purchase your cart?
Buying from a facility can be infinitely more reliable than buying from an individual. Golf facilities are more likely to maintain their carts in superb condition whereas a private individual does not have a clientele to keep happy. Golf facilities are also more approachable should there be a problem, especially if you are one of their golf clients.
If the golf cart is amazingly cheap, you’re best bet is to pass it by unless you are very familiar with the workings of a golf cart and able to repair whatever is wrong with it. Cheaper golf carts either have problems or they are old and have much less life expectancy. This type of cart might match your needs but you will need to consider your options.
If you belong to a golf facility, your best bet for a good deal on a reliable cart is through them. They are not likely to risk loosing a valuable member by selling an unreliable cart or not responding to troubles on a cart purchased by you.
