Gasoline powered engines also afford the vehicle more power and the capability of carrying or pulling heavier loads longer distances using auxiliary lights or other features that consume power. Though these sound like a superb deal, you will need to check your local laws and regulations as some communities have completely banned the use of gas powered carts in favor of the quieter, cleaner electric carts.
Price wise, both gas and electric carts have similar price tags in the new cart market. In the used market, you will have an easier time finding an electric at bargain prices as golf courses are constantly releasing theirs into the used cart market.
