Consider This Before You Buy Golf Carts

buy golf cartsBefore you purchase a new or used golf cart, there are many things you will need to take into consideration. Renting a golf cart may be a better idea if you only play golf once in a while, but purchasing is a good idea if you play on a regular basis as it will end up costing you less in the long run.

You will need a place to store your cart where it is protected from weather, thievery and other outside influences, (you may also want to have an individual key made in place of the universal key supplied by the manufacturer). Make sure the space is large enough to enter and exit with ease by measuring the space and basing your purchase size on that measurement. There are also weight limits for different golf courses to consider, make sure your cart will comply.

The next decision is gas or electric. The major factor in this decision is how readily available a recharge station is within your property, where you store the cart or the course itself. Electric carts are quite a bit less expensive to run and are more widely accepted than gas carts, but if no electrical is available, or you run the cart for a long period before you’re able to charge, you may want to consider gas.
