Have you seen a lot more people driving around in vehicles other than cars these days? Maybe the economy has led them to look for alternate modes of transportation. Or, maybe it is entertaining to drive something other than a car. One vehicle that more and more people seem to drive is a golf cart. It seems like a nice alternative to get people to and from places. Also, it is convenient. But, how does it operate? The answer depends on the type of golf cart you own. You can purchase electric or gas golf carts.
Electric Golf Carts. Electric golf carts run on batteries. Basically, you plug them in at night to charge the battery and then you can operate them the next morning. They are not as powerful as gas carts, but they get you around.
Gas Golf Carts. Gas golf carts are an older form of the golf cart. These carts run on fuel and typically require more maintenance. However, they are typically easier to find used and less costly. When purchasing something used keep in mind the age, location, accessories, price, and condition of the golf cart.
Regardless of which type you choose, always test drive first and ask about a warranty.
