It’s important that you have confidence in the dealership you eventually purchase from. In order for you to build this confidence, you will need to have some questions answered.
A very important question is the longevity of the company. If they are fairly new, they won’t have much of a track record for you to explore nor will you be assured of the continuance of the company. A company such as Permalink would be a viable consideration due to not only their longevity but their customer satisfaction level.
You will also need to know about their service capabilities, do they have onsite service stations, do they stock a large inventory of parts or will parts have to be ordered, leaving you waiting for your cart for days. What about the technicians, how many are staffed and what certifications do they hold. Make sure their work has a warranty period.
Another question would be whether or not they have a guaranteed response time when a golf cart breaks down.
If possible, ask if you can visit the service bays. See if you can look at the parts area. When you do this, you will get an idea as to what their service capabilities realistically are.
Finally, make sure that they are authorized to service the cart from the manufacturer of your choice.
