Need Some Work Done? Don’t Take Your Golf Cart To Ju

Your neighborhood auto mechanic may be able to fix anything on your Chevy or Toyota, but don’t bring in your golf cart. If you need to repair your golf cart, look for someone that specializes in them.

The dealer where you purchased your golf cart should know of a nearby mechanic if they don’t have one in-house. You can also find specialty shops in the phone book or online, and don’t forget to ask around for references from other golf cart owners. With the smaller engines and specific street-legal requirements, its best to stick with someone experienced.

For body repairs, an auto body shop will probably do fine repairs because they are trained to do repairs to many types of material; composites, fiberglass, metal. Bring the cart in first and get an estimate, just to make sure they know they can do the repair. Remember, if you drive your cart on the street, repairs will still need to comply with local laws.

For other repairs and parts, stick with authorized dealers. This way you get warranties and know the product was designed for golf cart use. Take care of your golf cart and you will get years of enjoyment out of it.
