If you run your battery too low, you may put it in a condition that it will not charge regularly by plugging it into the wall, if this is the case, it may be totally gone, or you may be able to revive it using some very simple steps.
You will need to have a crescent wrench, distilled water, Epsom salts, a bucket, a funnel gloves, eye protection and a three stage lead acid battery charger. Never work on your battery without eye and hand protection, there are too many toxic materials within it’s plastic walls.
You will need to make a mixture of four ounces of Epsom salts to every quart of water, how much you make will be determined by the size of your battery, normally two quarts is plenty. You’ll want to heat the water till it’s decently warm as this will dissolve the Epsom salts more effectively. Carefully remove the cables from the battery and remove it from the cart. Remove the plastic caps from the battery and dump the fluid into a plastic container. Next, using the funnel, pour your Epsom salt mixture into the compartments of the battery, replace the caps and carefully shake the battery to evenly distribute the fluid.
Now you will need to clean the battery posts and hook it to the charger, be sure the charger is off before attaching. Charge the battery overnight. By morning you should have a fully functioning battery to reinstall in your cart.
